Numbers are the fastest way to establish credibility, because they cannot be faked by good writing alone. Team sizes, budgets, volumes, percentages, timescales, revenue. A CV without a single figure on it reads as vague regardless of how strong the underlying career is.

"Assisted with", "involved in", "helped to", "responsible for", "participated in". These constructions distance you from your own work and make it unclear what you personally did versus what happened around you.
The fix Active ownership verbs — led, delivered, built, negotiated, reduced, scaled — matched to what you actually did.
Two pages is the UK standard. The bigger problem is usually allocation: a role from 2011 given the same space as your current one. Recency matters far more than completeness. Nobody is reading paragraph four of a job you left twelve years ago.

Mixed date formats, tense switching between past and present, inconsistent capitalisation, three different bullet styles. Individually trivial, collectively they read as carelessness on a document whose entire purpose is to demonstrate attention to detail. American spellings — organized, specialized, program — are an increasingly common giveaway of an unedited AI draft.
